I have posted some views on the economic crisis in this blog in the past. If you've read
them, you know I don't believe for a second that this crisis is getting better. Although I
read the headline this morning that the economy grew in the third quarter. That's funny
because weeks before I had read that the economy was expected to shrink in the third
quarter. What's driving the new numbers in the economy? I read that housing prices were
up. Perhaps some bean counting beaurocrat decided that those increased prices were good
news and took the increase in prices as a sign that people were earning more and paying
more. Such is not the fact at all! Houses at the current prices are not being bought. They are
sitting empty. Nobody is buying, because nobody can buy.
Face the facts before they hit you in the face. The economy is collapsing. I don't believe our
politicians or banksters will stop the collapse. They can't. It is up to you and I and
individuals to prepare for ourselves and survive the worsening crisis. We can still take
matters into our own hands. We the individual people may even turn things around. A
relative of mine has been having a lot of financial trouble this year. He has asked me to
compose a letter for him to his State and federal representatives. I do not agree with every
political and social precept he does and I've included his view point in the letter. For myself,
I do not have any faith in the social security system and believe that most pensions have
already been looted. I believe most of these schemes like social security with the
exceptions of some private pension funds are socialist and doomed to failure to begin with.
My fix for this crisis would be a complete and total return to our original government as
defined by our Constitution for these united States of America with a complete review of the
fourteenth, sixteenth and seventeenth amendments to determine if they were actually
ratified lawfully. There are convincing arguments with evidence to suggest that they
weren't. Under our original constitutional government, Congress would be returned the
power to coin money and the federal reserve bank would lose its charter and be abolished in
the U.S.. Fair weights and measures of gold, silver and commodities would be returned and
Americans would have honest money again, along with the freedom to work or build their
own businesses. But that's my viewpoint. I have composed the following letter for my
relative who believes that social security and the current fraudulent reserve system can still
be made to work.
Perhaps you would like to use the following letter as a template to write to your
representatives yourself. Maybe you, I and all of us together can pull the system out. I
doubt it. What the politicos want is for the system to fail, then they will blame it on
capitalism and free market when it is the opposite that has happened. Take the following
letter as you will.
Dear Sir:
I have been having some financial difficulties for the past few years. I know most politicians
do not want to admit that inflation has been eating the American public alive, but the fact is,
inflation has brought our level of living down several notches over the last several years. No
accounting tricks or creative bookkeeping has changed this reality. We are finally getting a
cost of living adjustment in our social security and pensions this year. The very small 3.5
percent increase would have gone a long way in helping many of us to keep up with the cost
of living, but no sooner had the announcement that we would finally receive a COLA this
year been released than Americans’ insurance companies announced that they would be, yet
again, raising their rates. Combined with rising food, energy, fuel, water & sewage and
heating prices the recent COLA will not keep up with the cost of living. No one expects to
live rich or high on the hog from our social security and pensions, but we do expect to live.
Like most Americans, I am growing sick of squeaking through one month by eating less,
staying cold and giving up something else only to find I must stay hungrier, colder and find
something else to cut or not pay for the next month. Now, I love America’s Constitution, I
don’t want my rights, freedom or liberty messed with and I don’t want the rights, freedom or
liberty of anyone else messed with. I don’t want communism and I don’t want any more
socialism. What I want is for banks, utility companies and insurance companies who make
millions or more in profits per year to stop predatory fees and looting practices on the
American people. I expect you as my representative to take a hand in fixing this problem. I
will make myself available to you if you wish to help with whatever you may need in this
task. My contact information is above. America is on the brink of being ripped apart. We
can be part of the solution or part of the problem. Let’s work to fix this.
Yours truly,
